Day Tour visiting Tres Islas Island, touring the Gulf of Montijo and ending with a lunch in Isla Leones.
It is a Wetland of International Importance (RAMSAR), located in the southern part of the province of Veraguas, in the districts of Montijo, Soná, Río de Jesús, Mariato and Santiago.
It covers a total area of 89,452 hectares between sea and land. ￼In about 13.7% of the country's mangroves (about 23,439 hectares), undoubtedly a source of extraordinary wealth.
It is one of the main fishing zones within the Panamanian Pacific and accounts for 8% of total mangroves cover in the Central American Pacific.
It is a great opportunity to know the wildlife in these ecosystems. There are numerous birds, crustaceans, fish, reptiles and amphibians.
In our tour we will visit islands of great importance in this wetland, known as Tres Islas, where we will enjoy a day of beach, depending on the conditions of the tides, then visit Isla Leones, we will taste a delicious lunch with varied seafood and fish.
