The Lost Waterfalls is a private nature reserve that borders the Baru Volcano National Park. During this tour, participants will hike through it cloud forests and visit three waterfalls. The area is an excellent birding as well. The hiking trail parallels to the Quebrada La Mina.

This creek runs through the reserve and later merges whit Caldera River. During the hike, you´ll have the opportunity to explore a small cave and search for the tropical birds. In fact, there are over 220 species of bird native to this area, including the glamorous Quetzal. After 1.5 hours of hike, you will make it to the end. Here you will enjoy a light snack and have the chance to take really good pictures or take a shower beneath the falls. The participants on this tour should have the really good physical condition because some sections of the trail are strenuous and can be slippery during the rainy season.

Recommendations: older than 10 years could do the activity, do not have problems or pain that could limit you to use our legs or hands. The level of difficulty is medium; bring sunblock and repellent for mosquitoes. Also, wear shoes with good traction and a lot of attitude for the adventure, additionally bring a swim suit just in case you want to enjoy the fresh water.
